Another Car on Rail Track
A driver has died in Yorkshire when his car crashed through a fence on to a rail track and was hit by a train travelling at about 100mph.
None of the 75 passengers on the 1425 Virgin train from Plymouth to Edinburgh was hurt in Monday's collision at the village of Copmanthorpe, near York.

Name a bridge
Well, if you've ever wanted to name a bridge, here's your chance: Swale Bridge competition.
As part of the A249 Iwade Bypass to Queenborough Improvement project, the (artist's impression of the) bridge looks pretty impressive.
The crossing will consist of two abutments, 18 pier bases (13 will be on land and 5 will be within the Swale Estuary), 36 supporting columns and 1.25 kilometres of bridge deck. The new crossing, which will provide un-interrupted access to the island, will carry four lanes of traffic, two in each direction and will provide clearance of 29 metres above high water level.
